Full Version: Blood Bowl

Has anyone been weak-willed enough to succumb to the blatant gouging of Blood Bowl? I know Ryan was in the beta, so is presumably at least slightly interested.

Anyway, it's rather good!

Single-player is fulfilling enough, and a good place to test tactics against the, uh, variable AI. Multiplayer's a blast, though, despite the single worst matchmaking/lobby interface I've ever seen. Ludicrous flukes generate more mirth than even L4D at times, albeit less consistantly.

IF ONLY I HAD MORE THAN TWO PEOPLE TO PLAY AGAINST.

If only I wasn't poor as fuck I'd get it just to mess around with, but I am, so I can't :(

The name's JanekT if anyone ever spots me online.

Jon: Boo to poorness. Although as I say, I suspect a lot of people will be waiting for the Steam release and suitably reduced price anyway.

Did the beta, enjoyed it thoroughly, won't pay £40 for it.

At £25 i'd bite Steam's arm off though.

If for whatever reason the website is unable to tell where you're from, it assumes you're American. And charges you accordingly. Hence, £30, assuming your card is accepted in America (ie not a Maestro).

Dubious legality, of course, but hey.
