Shame the game's not very good, eh? I mean, there's some really neat features in terms of the media centre, Prozone, etc, but the match engine still feels a fair way behind FM.
Which is a shame, as Eidos really should be commended for innovating (sort of) like this. I'm tempted to buy it simply for an outside chance of being fixed with patches, and to punish Sega for price gouging.

Anything after Champ 3 confused and irritated me. I got lost in the depths of a game I otherwise loved. Still, even with the poor reputation CM now has I'd be tempted to dabble in this. If only I had the time...

I only ever played the original CM. This was because it and Sim City were the only games available on the PC at my aunt's house where I was staying as a kid during the start/end of school holidays, because my holidays were longer than theirs... just about everything I know about football (which isn't much) I learnt from that game. The other game however... that became something altogether different.

Y'know I never played Sim City as a game. I always found the money cheats and just played as a total sandbox.

I played Sim City 2000 to the point where I had a map full of arcologies, even without any cheats. I abso-fucking-loutely love Sim City games (except Societies).
